The Names on Your Serum.

You didn't learn about vitamin C from a supplement. You learned it from a bottle with a dropper. Same with hyaluronic acid, same with vitamin A. You've read those names on your shelf for years and decided they belong on your skin. Skin Fuel is the first place they've turned up as a capsule with something to say about skin: vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin;² zinc and vitamin A contribute to the maintenance of normal skin.¹ The names you trust, in one capsule, with breakfast.

Vitamin C, vitamin A, hyaluronic acid, zinc. You already believe in them.¹ ²

The Collagen Question.

If you take collagen, keep taking it; this sits beside it. If you've decided against it, or you've never got round to it, this is the skin capsule that never needed it. Nothing in Skin Fuel comes from an animal: the hyaluronic acid is fermented rather than extracted, the vitamin A is retinyl acetate rather than fish liver oil, the capsule is plant cellulose. And it still has something to say about collagen: vitamin C, at 70% of your daily reference intake, contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin.² Vegan, and not a fudge about it.

One a day, with breakfast. Add Skin Fuel.

Made Like a Recipe.

Most skin capsules are a shopping list. A bit of this, a pinch of that, whatever was in stock the month they were made. Four of Skin Fuel's ingredients were never a list: the grape seed, the melon, the zinc and the vitamin C were put together on purpose by someone in Bordeaux who filed a patent on the combination, and that combination, whole, is what's in every capsule. Grape seed from vines in Champagne. Melon from the south of France, picked for the enzyme in it. We built the rest around them: 200mg of hyaluronic acid, bamboo silica, chlorella and the vitamin A the skin line belongs to.¹ It's the difference between a capsule that was assembled and one that was made.

Who It's For.

The one whose shelf is full of vitamin C and hyaluronic acid and who has started wondering about the version you swallow. The one who tried collagen and stopped, or never started. The one who reads ingredient lists on serums for pleasure and would like a capsule that rewards the habit. Anyone who takes care of her skin and wants the care to be vegan all the way through.

What This Won't Do.

It won't replace the shelf; the creams still do the surface, and that still needs doing. It won't do anything in a week, and it isn't a thirty-day product; it's a daily one. And it isn't collagen. It's the vitamins, the hyaluronic acid and the silica, taken with breakfast.

How You'll Know.

Give it three boxes. Not because anything happens on day ninety, and we'd rather tell you that than let a number do the promising; because a nutrient you take daily is a habit before it's anything else, and three months is how long it takes to know whether a habit is yours. Judge nothing in the first week. One customer wrote that she was "looking forward to seeing how it goes by week four", which is about the right patience for the first box. The refund covers the first thirty days, opened or not, so the risk is a month; the commitment we're asking for is three. About seven in ten Wellgard customers make it to a second box, which is the only test that counts.

The Directions Line.

One capsule a day with water, as the box directs. With breakfast, before the serum, for most people; the same time each day is what makes the habit. If you're pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, speak to your GP before taking a supplement containing vitamin A. On medication or under medical supervision, GP first.

Your First Box.

Thirty capsules on Subscribe & Save, 15% off every order, and the next box arrives before the last capsule goes. Pause it, skip it or cancel it from your account in two clicks; each renewal is charged at the subscription price shown until you do, and there's nothing to unsubscribe from twice. If Skin Fuel isn't for you, we refund the box within thirty days, opened or not, under our published terms. No hard feelings.

Q&A

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

No. Collagen is an animal protein, and every "vegan collagen" product is either the ingredients your body uses to make its own or a marketing phrase. Skin Fuel doesn't contain collagen; it contains vitamin C, which contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, alongside hyaluronic acid, silica, and zinc and vitamin A, which contribute to the maintenance of normal skin, in a vegan capsule.

Yes. Skin Fuel is the step you swallow, one capsule with breakfast, and nothing on your shelf has to change. Face creams, serums and SPF work on the surface; this is the other half of the routine.

Hyaluronic acid is included at 200mg per capsule for the people who want it in the same capsule as the vitamins; the jobs printed on the box belong to vitamin C, vitamin A and zinc.

One capsule a day with water, as the box directs, for adults. It contains vitamin A at 75% of the reference intake as retinyl acetate, so if you're pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, speak to your GP before taking it, and count it alongside any other vitamin A you take. On medication or under medical supervision, GP first.

Three months, one capsule a day, before you decide whether it's part of your life. What the box says about vitamin C, zinc and vitamin A is what Skin Fuel does, and none of it comes with a date. The refund covers the first thirty days; the habit is judged at ninety.

Three of the eight ingredients say something about skin on the box, and here it is in full. Zinc and Vitamin A contribute to the maintenance of normal skin. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin and the regeneration of the reduced form of vitamin E. Vitamin C and Zinc contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Per capsule: 56mg of vitamin C (70% NRV), 600ug of vitamin A (75%), 4mg of zinc (40%).

200mg per capsule, one capsule a day, which puts Skin Fuel at the higher end of hyaluronic acid capsules sold in the UK, most of which give 100mg to 200mg.

Bamboo extract, 10mg per capsule, providing 7.5mg of silica, listed by weight.

Yes. The capsule shell is hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and nothing in the recipe is animal-derived, including the vitamin A, which is retinyl acetate rather than fish liver oil.

They're different things. Collagen powder is animal protein; Skin Fuel is a vegan capsule of vitamins, hyaluronic acid and silica, with vitamin C for normal collagen formation. If you don't take collagen, Skin Fuel is the Wellgard skin capsule that doesn't need you to. If you do, the two sit side by side.

Yes. Neither contains anything that interferes with the other. Count Skin Fuel's vitamin C and zinc towards any other supplement that provides them.

Read the two ingredient lists side by side. The premium skin capsules sold at beauty counters are typically built on hyaluronic acid, grapeseed extract, melon extract for its superoxide dismutase, chlorella, vitamins A and C and zinc, in two capsules a day. Skin Fuel is built on the same ingredients plus bamboo silica, with every amount printed on the box, in one capsule a day. Brands and amounts differ; the box is where you check.

Yes. One formula, one capsule; nothing on the box is for one sex.

No declared allergens. The full ingredient list is under Read the Box.

Skin Fuel is a food supplement, not a treatment for any skin condition. If you have one, your GP or pharmacist is the right first call, and Skin Fuel is something to take alongside, not instead of, whatever they suggest.

Retinyl acetate is preformed vitamin A. Skin Fuel provides 600ug, 75% of the reference intake, per capsule, which is within the daily amounts considered safe for adults when you count all your sources. The caution is for pregnancy, where preformed vitamin A intake should be discussed with a GP or midwife.

With breakfast, for most people. Once a day with water, at the same time each day.

Customers describe them as slightly larger than a standard capsule and easy to swallow with water, with no aftertaste.

Count the vitamin A, vitamin C and zinc towards anything else you take that provides them. If you're unsure of the totals, your pharmacist can work them out with you.

It's a green microalga included at 150mg per capsule and listed by weight.

It's one ingredient, designed in France, not four we bought separately: grape seed from the Champagne region, melon from the south of France chosen for its superoxide dismutase, zinc and vitamin C, at the dose its designers intended. Skin Fuel uses 150mg of it per capsule. The standardisation figures are in Read the Box.

Thirty capsules, one a day. Subscribe & Save takes 15% off every order and sends the next box before the last capsule goes; pause, skip or cancel whenever you like.

Wellgard refunds the box within thirty days, opened or not, under its published refund terms.

In the European Union, using non-UK ingredients, for Wellgard, a British brand based in London, as the box says.
