Electromight Intense

✦ 1,957mg Sodium. For When You Actually Need One.

No. Not Every Day.

The white salt line on your cap after a long run. Two sessions a day in August. The twelve-hour shift on a hot site. If you sweat hard and often, you know water alone doesn't put the electrolytes back. Intense is the high-strength electrolyte drink for that: one 15g sachet of sugar-free electrolyte powder in 500ml, 1,957mg of sodium, with potassium, magnesium and calcium, crisp apple. Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance and to normal muscle function.‡ Not for every day.

Put it on repeat, at the interval your hard days come. Pause, skip or cancel in your account.

Then There's July.

Some people sweat more than others, and they know it: the kit that dries stiff and white, both bottles empty by eleven on a ride that goes past lunch, the heatwave week when a desk job turns into a physical one. Long, hard and hot is the day most sachets are too small for. Intense is the strong end of the electrolyte sachets: sugar-free electrolytes dosed for exactly that, in one 500ml glass, for runners, cyclists, hot-yoga and sauna regulars, and anyone whose job is done on their feet in the heat.

Why This One.

Ten vitamins and minerals in one 15g sachet, at amounts that count: vitamin C at 100% of the reference intake, magnesium at 55%, vitamin B12 at 2,520%. Sugar-free, sweetened with sucralose, coloured with turmeric and spirulina. Twenty sachets. Made in the EU for Wellgard. A high strength blend of electrolytes, vitamins and minerals to support electrolyte balance.‡

Magnesium, potassium and calcium contribute to normal muscle function.‡ ¹ Magnesium, vitamin C, vitamin B12 and iron contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.² Vitamin B12, vitamin B6 and pantothenic acid contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism,³ and vitamin C and zinc to the normal function of the immune system.‡ ⁵

"They don't taste salty, and taste of crisp green apple."

1,957mg of Sodium. The Straight Version.

That's about 4.9g of salt, roughly four-fifths of the adult daily maximum. On a desk day it's more salt than you want from a drink. On the day this sachet is built for, it's why it exists. If you're on a low-sodium diet, watching your blood pressure, or on medication that affects your potassium, this isn't your sachet; Daily is, and we'd rather say it here than have you find out later.

Not One Sodium. Not Two. Three.

A lot of electrolyte sachets carry their sodium one way, as table salt. Intense carries it three ways, and each has a job. Sweat is salt water, so most of the sodium comes back as it left: sodium chloride. On its own, though, nearly two grams of it in a glass is seawater. So a share comes as sodium citrate, which carries sodium without the salt taste and takes the sharpness off the citric acid, and a share as sodium carbonate, which does the same and gives the mix its slight fizz when you stir. Three forms, one number: 1,957mg, in a drink you'd finish. The same thinking runs through the sachet: potassium three ways, magnesium two, calcium from the phosphate and from the ascorbate that carries the vitamin C. Every form is named under Read the Box.

Iron, in an Electrolyte Powder.

Every sachet carries 2.1mg of iron as ferrous gluconate, with 80mg of vitamin C beside it. Vitamin C increases iron absorption,⁴ and iron contributes to normal oxygen transport in the body.‡ Pairing iron with vitamin C is the right way to put it in.

What This Won't Do.

It won't be an everyday drink; that's the other sachet. It won't taste like the sea, which at this much sodium took some doing. It won't make the hill any shorter. It'll be there at the top.

How You'll Know.

Twenty sachets, and how long they last depends on how many hard days you have. For most people that's weeks, not days, which is rather the point. If it isn't for you, full refund within 30 days, even if it's opened. No forms.

How to Take It.

Take one 15g sachet daily, stirred into 500ml of cold water. Too much or too little water affects the taste and texture, so 500ml it is. Always use a clean, dry spoon. Drink it shortly after mixing, or keep it in the fridge and use within six hours. One a day is the most, and for most people not every day.

Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and healthy lifestyle. If pregnant, breast feeding or on medication, consult your doctor or a medical practitioner before taking this product. Do not exceed the recommended intake. Store in a cool dry place, out of sight and reach of children. Always use a clean mixing spoon, and always consume within 6 hours of preparation if stored in a refrigerator. If you're on a low-sodium diet, have high blood pressure or a kidney condition, or take medication that affects your potassium or sodium, speak to your GP first.

Two Electrolyte Sachets. Two Kinds of Day.

ElectroMight Daily is a 5g sachet in 200ml: 300mg sodium, 200mg potassium, 62.5mg magnesium, with inulin. Orange and passionfruit. The one you can have every day. ElectroMight Intense is a 15g sachet in 500ml: 1,957mg sodium, 492mg potassium, 205mg magnesium. Crisp apple. For when you actually need one. Neither is the better one. They're for different days.

On Repeat.

Subscribe & Save takes 15% off every delivery, it renews at the interval you choose, and you can pause, skip or cancel in your account. Set the interval to your hard days, not the calendar.

Get on with your day. It sounds like a big one.

‡ Provides magnesium, which contributes to electrolyte balance, energy-yielding metabolism, and normal muscle function, along with iron, which contributes to normal oxygen transport in the body and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Additionally, vitamin C contributes to maintain the normal function of the immune system.
¹ Potassium contributes to normal muscle function and to normal functioning of the nervous system. Calcium contributes to normal muscle function.
² Magnesium, vitamin C, vitamin B12 and iron contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
³ Vitamin B12, vitamin B6 and pantothenic acid contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
⁴ Vitamin C increases iron absorption.
⁵ Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Wellgard Electromight Intense is a high-strength, sugar-free electrolyte powder in single-serve crisp apple sachets, made for the days that ask more of your hydration, from long training sessions to hot weather and heavy sweating. It goes beyond electrolytes alone: each sachet also brings iron, zinc and B vitamins, so one morning drink covers ground that might otherwise take several separate supplements.

Each 15g sachet provides a high level of the four key electrolytes: 1957mg sodium, 492mg potassium, 205mg magnesium and 183.3mg calcium. The sodium is delivered as a blend of sodium citrate, sodium chloride and sodium carbonate, which is what lets a dose this high taste like a clean, crisp apple drink rather than a harsh salty one. Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

The stand-out addition for an electrolyte drink is iron. Each sachet contains 2.1mg of iron as ferrous gluconate together with 80mg of vitamin C. Iron contributes to normal oxygen transport in the body and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and since vitamin C increases iron absorption, the two make a natural pairing. Vitamin C also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Each serving adds 2.5mg of zinc as zinc citrate, which contributes to normal function of the immune system and to normal cognitive function, plus 63 micrograms of vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin, an active form of B12, along with vitamin B6 and pantothenic acid. Vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism.

There is no added sugar and no artificial colours. The crisp apple flavour is sweetened with sucralose, and the colour comes from turmeric and spirulina. Single-serve sachets also do away with measuring powder from a tub, so a consistent dose is easy to take on the move.

Electromight Intense is made in the European Union. Stir one 15g sachet into 500ml of cold water once a day. Each pack contains 20 sachets, 300g in total, for 20 servings.

Per 15g sachet (daily serving). 20 sachets per box.

Q&A

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

It depends on the run. A 5k on a cool morning, no: water and your next meal cover it. A long one in heat, a hard session that leaves you wrung out, a week of training somewhere hot: that's the case where the same experts say you do. ElectroMight Intense is built for the second kind of run. For everything else, Daily or a glass of water.

Almost certainly not. Drink some water, eat something, and you're done. Where Intense earns its place is the long, hot, hard day, not the parkrun.

1,957mg of sodium per sachet, about 4.9g of salt, roughly four-fifths of the adult daily maximum. On an ordinary day that's more than you want from a drink; on the day it's built for, long, hard and hot, the amount is the point. One sachet is the most in a day. If you're on a low-sodium diet or watching your blood pressure, this isn't your sachet.

On a long, hot, hard day, by someone who's been on their feet for hours. Every day on top of a normal diet, a high-sodium sachet adds a lot of salt you don't need. If you have high blood pressure, a kidney condition, or you've been told to limit salt, speak to your GP before taking any electrolyte product, and choose Daily over Intense.

The ones dosed for it. For a long, hot, hard day the number to check first is sodium per sachet, and it should be on the front of the box; ours is 1,957mg, with 492mg of potassium, 205mg of magnesium and 183mg of calcium alongside it. Then sugar (Intense has none), the sweetener (sucralose), the vitamins it carries, and the price per sachet.

Because each does a different job in the drink. Sodium chloride is what sweat loses, so most of the sodium comes back that way. Sodium citrate carries sodium without the salt taste and balances the citric acid. Sodium carbonate does the same and gives the mix its slight fizz. Together they put 1,957mg into a crisp apple drink you'd finish.

Both names get used for the same thing. It's a high-strength electrolyte hydration sachet: 15g of powder into 500ml of water, 1,957mg of sodium, 492mg of potassium and 205mg of magnesium, for a long, hot, hard day rather than an ordinary one. Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance and to normal muscle function.

Electrolyte tablets are mostly sodium chloride, sometimes with a little potassium, swallowed dry or dropped in water. Intense is an electrolyte sachet: 15g of powder carrying its sodium in a 500ml drink, with potassium, magnesium and calcium and a set of vitamins a tablet doesn't. To compare, check your tablet's sodium against 1,957mg per sachet.

You can, and it gives you sodium. It also tastes like salt in water, with no potassium, magnesium, calcium or vitamins. Intense is 1,957mg of sodium across three compounds so it drinks clean, with 492mg of potassium, 205mg of magnesium, 183mg of calcium, and vitamin C, B12, B6, pantothenic acid, iron and zinc.

One sachet a day is the maximum. Whether you should have one every day is a different question, and for most people the answer is no: 4.9g of salt daily on top of a normal diet is more than most people should have. If your days are all long, hot and hard, one a day is within the directions. If they aren't, keep Intense for those days and have Daily the rest of the time. If you have high blood pressure or take medication, speak to your GP first.

No. At 1,957mg of sodium it's the opposite of a low-sodium product. Daily carries 300mg, which is a different conversation, but check with your GP or pharmacist before taking any electrolyte product if you're managing blood pressure or on medication that affects sodium or potassium.

Anyone on a low-sodium diet, anyone with high blood pressure or a kidney condition, and anyone on medication that affects potassium or sodium, without speaking to their GP first. Consult your doctor if pregnant, breastfeeding or on medication. People with iron overload shouldn't take products containing iron. There's no serving for children.

Per 15g sachet: sodium 1,957mg, potassium 492mg, magnesium 205mg, calcium 183mg, vitamin C 80mg, vitamin B12 63µg, vitamin B6 0.7mg, pantothenic acid 3mg, iron 2.1mg, zinc 2.5mg. Sugar-free, sweetened with sucralose, natural apple flavour, coloured with turmeric and spirulina. The full ingredient list is under Read the Box.

Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance. Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function. Potassium contributes to normal muscle function and to normal functioning of the nervous system. Calcium contributes to normal muscle function. Magnesium, vitamin C, vitamin B12 and iron contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin B12, vitamin B6 and pantothenic acid contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism. Vitamin C increases iron absorption. Iron contributes to normal oxygen transport in the body. Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system. Nine nutrients are at or above 15% of the reference intake, so the full list of what each one contributes to, nutrient by nutrient, is under Read the Box. Sodium has no reference value, so the amount is stated and left there.

For the same reason the sodium is in three. Potassium chloride mirrors what sweat loses; potassium citrate and potassium hydrogen phosphate carry potassium with less of the bitterness a single salt would give a drink. Magnesium comes as malate and as oxide, which together reach 205mg, 55% of the reference intake, in a sachet that still dissolves cleanly. Every form is named under Read the Box.

Each sachet carries 63µg of vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin, which is 2,520% of the daily reference intake of 2.5µg. B12 is water-soluble, and UK guidance sets no upper level for it. Vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Because a hard day asks more of you than salt and water, and iron goes with the vitamin C that's already in the sachet: 2.1mg of iron with 80mg of vitamin C. Vitamin C increases iron absorption. Iron contributes to normal oxygen transport in the body. If you take another supplement containing iron, check the total.

No. It's sweetened with sucralose, not stevia, so there's no bitter finish. The flavour is natural apple; the colour is turmeric and spirulina.

Nothing on the ingredient list comes from an animal: mineral salts, natural apple flavouring, turmeric, spirulina, sucralose, and methylcobalamin for the B12. The pack doesn't carry a vegan certification. The full list is under Read the Box.

Stir one 15g sachet into 500ml of cold water with a clean, dry spoon. Drink it shortly after mixing, or keep it in the fridge and use within six hours. 500ml matters: it's a 15g sachet carrying nearly two grams of sodium, and too much or too little water changes the taste and texture.

One. At 1,957mg of sodium per sachet, that's the maximum, and it's meant.

Daily if you like an electrolyte drink and want one every day: 300mg sodium, 200ml, orange and passionfruit, with inulin. Intense if your days sometimes take everything out of you, the long run, the hot shift, the hard session: 1,957mg sodium, 500ml, crisp apple, and not for every day. Plenty of people keep both.

People whose days sometimes aren't ordinary. Runners and cyclists on the long ones. Footballers in pre-season. Chefs, builders, warehouse and delivery crews through a heatwave. Anyone hiking or working somewhere hot. Sauna regulars. It's for the day, not the person: the same runner wants Daily on a Tuesday and Intense on a Sunday in July.

No. There's no serving for children, the box should be kept out of their sight and reach, and at 1,957mg of sodium per sachet it's an adult product.

Store the box in a cool, dry place, out of sight and reach of children. Once mixed, drink it shortly after or keep it in the fridge and finish within six hours. The best before end date is on the top of the box.

Twenty sachets. How long that lasts depends on how many hard days you have; for most people that's weeks. Subscribe & Save takes 15% off every delivery, renews at the interval you choose, and you can pause, skip or cancel in your account. Set the interval to your hard days.

Full refund within 30 days, even if the box has been opened and some of the sachets used.
