In a thrush? It’s NOT your vagina’s fault!
If there’s one thing the past two years has taught us, it’s the importance of taking care of our health and well-being. More than ever before, we are turning to vitamins and supplements to help support our well-being and keep our bodies strong. However, with so many products on the market, it’s hard to know which ones to buy.
That brings us to a hot topic! Thrush or bacterial vaginosis is so common that 1/3 women in the UK will have it at some point and it’s not the vagina’s fault!
Basically, there are billions of bacteria working round the clock to keep your vagina healthy and happy. And a bunch of factors that can wreak havoc with its delicate
microbiome. Things like shower gels, soaps, non-breathable underwear, tampons, sanitary pads, your menstrual cycle, even your sexual activity can impact your vagina’s pH and its tricky temperament.
And those intimate perfumes, deodorants, and douches all “specifically designed to help you” may do the exact opposite by disrupting the pH of your hoo-ha which could lead to thrush or BV.
That’s why we set out to create disruptive long-form video that effectively informs and entertains. The 3 minute and 21 second "In a Thrush?" video uses humour to raise awareness about women's intimate concerns and communicates the unique benefits of Wellgard Vitaflora. The video was directed and filmed in our own studio.
